Birders,
A great morning at the Point.? There were birds everywhere.SUMMER TAN was a
lovely spot, 3 SCARLET TANS, EASTERN KINGBIRD,
ACADIAN FLTCATCHER, RED-EYED VIREO, ORCHARD ORIOLE were all FOS for me.?
Warblers included Northern Parula,
Yekkiw-remped, Yellow-throated, Bklack & White, Ovenbird and Common
Yellowthroat.? Other birds of interest included
House Wren and the eagles.? The old nest had Mom/Pop in and out, and Marc's
eagle nest is hard to see unless a head is
popping up.? Amazing, indeed, how close it is to the old establishment!
Sandy Holton and I had an excellent morning.? I went on alone to Monticello
where I missed all the good stuff except
Great Crested Fly - also FOS for me.?
