Gentle Readers,
Mary Floyd and Mark Moran led a group of fifteen birders at Huntley Meadows
Park on Monday, August 23, 2004, into the bright sunlight of the warm, calm,
day. A total of 52 species were observed including the Dark-eyed Junco -- a
very early migrant observed by Liz Graf and Fred Bogar -- in the tall snags to
the right of the entrance to the Boardwalk from the Visitor's Center.
