Since the trip leaders are not on Va-birds I asked them if I could post the
bird walk for them . And it was ok .

Seven members of the Augusta Bird Club and one guest toured the Augusta
Springs Wetlands this morning to check on early migrants. Species count was up
from last week -- had 35 this time. Added Louisiana Waterthrush to the warbler
list and had visual on at least 6 Eastern Towhees. Another highlight was a
Brewer's Blackbird, 5th Augusta County 'spring record' (per BAC, 2008).
