Good morning all,
We wanted to share with you the news that at 7:58 this morning a licensed
hummingbird bander caught and banded the Selasphorus hummingbird that we
reported earlier to the list serve. This is the bird that first visited our
yard on Oct. 18.
The bird proved to be an adult female Rufous Hummingbird in excellent health.
She was back on our feeder at 11 a.m., and has returned a couple of times since
then.
