I mispoke in my last post. I viewed all those birds from the dock of the Porto
Vecchio (sp?) apartment building - the place i parked was the Hunting Point
apartments. Unfortunately, the Porto Vecchio Apts. is private property - i
have a buddy who has a place there and he cleared me to look every now and then.
Anyway, there is now an American Avocet in amongst a crowd of Laughing and
Ring-billed Gulls (gulls floating, avocet standin in the shallow water). The
Avocet should be viewable from the Hunting Creek Bridge with a scope.
