The two American Golden Plovers continue in Bristow, but unfortunately the
viewing area has changed due to the sod farm owner's insistence that we leave.
Yesterday, I incorrectly reported the sod farm as Centreville Sod Farm, but
it's actually called the Kettle Wind Turf Farm. You can still view the plovers
by
parking along Split Oak Lane (gravel road) and scanning the fields. Do not
drive down the dirt road into the sod farm. Several Horned Larks were seen in a
plowed field there and several Common Nighthawks flew overhead.
