I've been reading with envy all the posts from those with Rose-
breasted Grosbeaks at their feeders. Oh well...... (I thought!)
Then ...... while talking with friends this afternoon on our screen
porch, I spotted an American Redstart about 20 feet from the porch
flying around in the understory. Watched him for about 15-20 minutes
around 4 pm. One of our friends is a birder so she understood my
excitement.
This is a first I've spotted this bird in my yard!
