Greetings, Observed an American Redstart at Freedom Park in Williamsburg today.
Only 3 days later than the earliest date of Aug 18 for Williamsburg area.
Freedom Park is one of James City County's Parks. Here is the link:

SIDE NOTE: Freedom Park is also the home of the Demonstration Garden for the
Williamsburg Botanical Garden. The Butterfly Garden there is STUFFED with all
kinds of butterflies and skippers. Two new species for the garden added last
week -- Little Yellow and Hoary Edge Skipper.
