The joint Audubon Society of Northern Virginia and Northern Virginia Bird Club
walk at Manassas began very slowly, but Sparrow Alley (near the Park Police
Headquarters yielded some nice birds, including 4 American Tree Sparrows (my
first of the year), a Chipping Sparrow, and 4 Field Sparrows. Oh, there was
over 220 dark-eyed Juncos as well.
