Like Lee Adams, Lynda Blair and I stopped at the Oyster landfill last
Monday on our way to Chincoteague for the day. We had lots of night
herons, both yellow and black crowned and I took a shot of what we
thought was an ibis flying overhead. I am finally getting to my
pictures and see that it was not an ibis, but an anhinga! The picture
is bad, no sun and some drizzle, but you can see that it is defintely an
anhinga. We got this around 10:30 am on 9/16. I guess I should get
working on the rest of my pics to see what else I can find... ;-)
