While out at Harwood Mills reservoir today, I again came across an
Anhinga. Presumably this is the same one that I've spotted at various times
over
the last month. It jumped from a low perch in a bald cypress tree and swam
around for a while slowly making its way deeper into the reservoir. I
searched the surrounding trees but no sign of any nesting activity.
