Hi All,
Nothing too great from yesterday morning, but I found my first Arlington
County Greater Scaup among the 25 or so Lessers at Roaches Run Waterfowl
Sanctuary. These scaup have been hanging out just offshore from the parking
area so offer good photographing oppotunities. An adult Black-crowned Night
Heron was sitting among the trees on the far side of the lake, or whatever it
is officially considered.
Later at Fort CF Smith Park, a Pine Warbler offered up its song from a large
oak tree in the area of the oval trail past the feeders.
