It seemed like BABY DAY at Neabsco Creek Boardwalk. During our herp survey
there, we spied two fledgling prothonotaries with their parents, several barn
swallow fledglings, a baby cardinal with its dad, and three brown thrashers
that might have been juveniles. Other birds included a yellow-billed cuckoo,
an immature and an adult orchard oriole, a green heron, several blue-gray
gnatcatchers, a great blue heron, several common yellowthroats, several indigo
buntings, & gobs of red-winged blackbirds, and a hairy woodpecker. My private
pix are (temporarily) here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/olympusbjs/79Q0j0
