I checked the nest boxes in the yard today and found:

3 bluebird hatchlings, approx 2 days old; parents laid 5 eggs; what happened
to 2 eggs is unknown.
5 chickadee hatchlings, approx 5 days old; parents laid 6 eggs; one egg
remains in nest with hatchlings.
One box lightly filled with sticks by male house wren, and one box filled to
ceiling with sticks by male house wren--no female has appeared yet.

Also, I visited James River Park (42nd st entrance) yesterday.  I heard lots
of songs I'm not familiar with (still learning!) but highlights were:

5 Baltimore Orioles, all male - 4 were all in one small area, alternately
chasing each other and singing
Blue-winged Warbler
Golden-winged Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler
Lots of Yellow-rumps
Great Crested Flycatcher
Blue-headed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
White-eyed Vireo
Northern Parula
Yellow Warbler
Northern Rough Winged Swallow
5 + Indigo Buntings
Worm Eating Warbler
Thrush sp - Didn't get a long enough look, but it was not Veery or Wood
Thrush.
Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers everywhere
