Greetings,
This cold weather is bringing the birds to the feeders and birdbaths for our
Backyard Bird Count.
Species so far today:
NORTHERN FLICKER
YELLOW BELLIED SAPSUCKER
DOWNY WOODPECKER
RED BELLIED WOODPECKER
WHITE BREASTED NUTHATCH
BROWN CREEPER--the fun thing about this visitor was watching it eat suet from
one
of our suet sandwiches. Maybe it will be a more frequent visitor.
COOPER'S HAWK--an adult (a juvenile buzzed the yard last week).
and assorted regulars including NORTHERN CARDINAL, MOURNING DOVE, TUFTED
TITMOUSE, CAROLINA CHICKADEE, CAROLINA WREN, WHITE THROATED SPARROW, HOUSE

Good birding to all,
Jay and Carol Hadlock
