I had little time to watch for hawks today but I did happen to look out of the
window when 2 Bald Eagles (1 adult, 1 immature) were circling over the Abbey.
Finally, late this evening I was able to walk in the woods and found a
Golden-crowned Kinglet along with several Black-thr. Blue Warblers, a
Worm-eating Warbler, 2 Ovenbirds, and 4 Hooded Warblers. There were also a
couple of Wood Thrushes and a Swainson's Thrush.
Over the ponds were 3 Nighthawks and a small flock of a dozen Cedar Waxwings
flycatching.
