A photographer (my apologies for forgetting your name) with a bi-iig lens
noticed a barn owl
near the entrance. It was a great day for thrashers, orchard orioles and
towhees
Must be prime territory for Catbirds because they were everywhere. Raptors
were absent;
not even a Kestrel. Too froggy and cold for them to be up I guess. Keep
trying for Turkeys
here but so far no luck. Warblers were just about a bust. I was not out in
the woods very much today,
which may have accounted for that.
