I spent this morning birding around Fleming Mountain in Bedford County. It was
cool and a little windy. Although I only found 24 species, some were ones that
I don't often see around here, including three separate flocks of turkeys (a
total of 19 birds), a Barred Owl, a catbird, a rose-breasted grosbeak, and four
warbler species (Magnolia, Black-throated Green, Redstart & Connecticut).
