I spent a couple hours early this morning at Bethel Beach in Mathews.
The tide was really, really high and the winds were blowing straight in
toward the beach. Most of the activity was on the back side away from
the winds.
Highlights for me were the black skimmers and black bellied plovers.

Eastern Kingbirds

Turkey vultures
American Goldfinch
My non-bird find of the day is what I think is a mink. It was playing
along the edge of the road as i drove in. I snapped a pic through the
windshield just so I had some proof, and it disappeared quickly into the
weeds before I could get a better picture.
