VA BIRDers,
David Ledwith and I attempted a Big Day today in Loudoun County. I am sure we
made a few mistakes so we tallied only 113 species. We started at Blue Ridge
Center where we tallied 2/3 of our total in 3:20. We got most of the regular
species but missed several warblers (we did 19 for the day....no big push at
BRCES) and also missed Bobolink. Top species for the BRCES and the day was
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.
