It was just brought to my attention that I left out 2 species of birds in this
report . They are Barred Owl -- 2 & E. Starling -- 339 .

The other day I did a summary of our Big Spring Day with the highlights . On
April 26th 15 members from the Augusta Bird Club covered prime bird habitat
from high elevations to the valley floor . In this all day event we had a total
of 126 species of birds . Total misses were Bobwhite , Grouse & Loggerhead
Shrike . Temps ranged from 54 to 86 degrees . It started off with being partly
cloudy to full sun & ending up with thunder showers in the late evening . The
list of birds seen or heard are listed below .

a day or two old )
