Please join us this Sat., September 3, at 8:30 am, for a Birds, Butterfly and
Wildflower walk at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship in the
northwestern corner of Loudoun County. Everyone is welcome to this free walk
(about three miles) sponsored by the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and the
Potomac Valley Audubon Society. The group will meet at the Neersville
Volunteer Fire Dept. on Harper's Ferry Rd, Rt. 671 at 8:30 am (NOTE THAT TIME
IS DIFFERENT FROM OUR NORMAL MEETING TIME) & carpool to one of the Center's
many trail heads. The Neersville Volunteer Fire Station is about 5.5 miles
north of the intersection of Rt. 9 & Rt. 671 and about 2.5 miles south of the
intersection of Rt. 340 & Rt. 671.
