Thank you very much for the kind words. I agree, we are not that far
apart, in lots of ways. I did appreciate reading your excellent response to my
initial post.
So far, I have tried my best to respond to every response posted to the
List Serv. But, I will not be able to continue doing this. If you have
already contacted me off line, I have either already responded to you
directly, or
will be doing so shortly. Thank you all for responding.
For those who might be keeping score, my ship of state here is afloat,
but I am taking on water and listing to port. But, the fire situation here
seems to be under control, at least for the moment. But, I don't know how much
more direct fire I can absorb.
Truthfully, so far, the offline contacts I have received have been quite
civil. Thank you. And, the thoughtfulness and the quality of the online
responses speak for themselves. Anyway, sometime soon I expect the owner of
the
List Serv is going to ask that I/we shut this thread down.
So, perhaps it would be a good idea if all other comments could be
directed to me offline. I will be glad to respond to your comments or concerns
directly. I appreciate all of your thoughts and comments.
