[Va-bird] Bird friendly fertilizer and weed control

Hi,

Does anyone know of bird/animal/Chesapeake Bay friendly fertilizer and weed 
control? Any input would be much appreciated. Our lawn care company is planning 
on using Dimension for crabgrass, Tripower for something else I did not catch 
and Fertilizer 1306 for fertilizing.

Any input?
