I birded the bay today the water was flat as glass for most of the morning
viewing conditions were awesome . High lights were Red Necked Grebes I ended up
with 13 birds 7 in Norfolk and 6 in Virginia beach .
All three scoters were in still good numbers , 1 Long Tailed Duck from 4th view
street Norfolk .
17 Common Goldeneye from 10 th view street Norfolk
19 American Oystercatcher at Lynn Haven Inlet .
The bay is loaded with Horned Grebes right now all in various plumages I
counted 450 birds from lynn Haven to Norfolk .
I found one of the Black headed gulls on the beach by Little creek , also in
this spot I had 7 Tree Swallows fly by.
