Hello all
This morning I did a little birding in our area of Augusta County after the
heavy afternoon rains yesterday . In the Swoope area I only found two late
migrants , alone DC Cormorant at the Boy Scout Lake & 2 Semipalmated
Plover's on Smith's .
Went down to Waynesboro to see if the Purple Gallinule was still there fore
I did not see any reports yesterday . The Gallinule make its usual
appearance around 10 :30ish & several people who use the Greenway trail
stopped & asked what I was looking at so they all got a close up look thru
my spotting scope .
