[Va-bird] Re: Birding the South Fork of the Shenandoah River Warren County

Today, Friday, August 31, we looke for birds on the South fork of the
Shenandoah River between the low water bridge at Bentonville and the
landing at Andy Guest Shenadoah River State Park.  Two of us spent two
hours traveling 4 miles on the River.

We saw:

Turkey Vulture
2 Canada Geese
1 Great Blue Heron
4 Green Heron
7 Wood Duck
2 Spotted Sandpiper
5 Belted Kingfisher
1 Eastern Phoebe
17 American Crow
7 American Goldfinch
