This submission was incomprehensible yesterday because most of the entries
were elided. Not sure what happened!
The most dramatic moment this weekend consisted of a sudden loud whoosh
overhead sounding like a microburst or an unmanned predator drone,
immediately followed by the frantic honking of two Canada geese that had
been relaxing on the meadow near "their" pond. A mature bald eagle was
dive-bombing them, but they fled and stayed away for several hours.
