To all,
I have not had a chance yet to write about the sightings at JP the Great the
past couple of days so today I will include yesterday and today.
Yesterday:
My religion class went outside to complete the filming for our project on
creation. While out I saw several swifts, several Northern Rough-winged
Swallows, and several gulls. A few Black Vultures circled. An adult eagle
was spotted later
Today:
While out in P.E. I spotted an Osprey, a Flicker, about a hundred starlings
and cowbirds, a couple of bluebirds, and a Pine Warbler was heard singing.
This could be the same warbler spotted early last week. I spoke with the
science teachers and a birding part might be added to the outdoors club at
the school and may eventually become its own separate club.
Cheers,
