This morning I got out and birded along Turkey Island Road in eastern Henrico
County. In one of the impoundments I noted a Eurasian Widgeon in amongst the
American Widgeon, Gadwall and Ring-necked Ducks. The flock was very skittish
and flew within 30 seconds of observing my stopped car.
In the afternoon I joined Arun Bose along the flood wall in the City of
Richmond. Arun spotted the Iceland Gull previously discovered by Ellison
Orcutt yesterday.
