Hi all,
On this cold, rainy day I was casually sitting out the window with my
camera when I saw a little bird flitting around in a Holly plant. I at
first thought it was a yellow-rump and almost didn't take a photo, but I
did and thankfully so because I thought it looked odd for the the yellow
rump due to the yellow wash on the face. Then I looked at my handy-dandy
Crossley guide and identified it as a 1st winter female Blackburnian
Warbler. If anyone wants to see the photo go to:
www.ibwobawa4ever.blogspot.com. eBird says it was rare so I guess it was
late for this time.
Cheers and God Bless,
