Tree trunks of low lying trees are still under water and the trails are wet
and muddy but migrating birds were all through the tree tops. Had two good
waves of Warblers on the walk with about a half dozen Magnolia and
Bay-breasted each, both male and female Redstarts, Canada, Tennessee,
Northern Parula and Black-throated Blue Warblers. Also had several Scarlet
Tanagers, Red-eyed Vireos, Carolina and House Wrens, and flyover Osprey,
Bald Eagle, and Red-shouldered Hawk.
Bugs were pretty annoying. Swatted 3 mosquitoes with one blow at one point.
