I checked several spots in the Rocky Knob/Rock Castle Gorge area of the Blue
Ridge Parkway (Floyd and Patrick County, VA) this morning and saw/heard a total
of 8 warblers including a number of first of seasons!  Highlights included
northern parula (FOS), black-and-white warbler, black-throated-blue warbler
(FOS), black-throated green warbler, yellow-throated warbler (FOS), hooded
warbler (FOS), Louisiana waterthrush, and American redstart (FOS).

Also heard FOS wood thrush and scarlet tanager.
