Adam D'Onofrio and I braved the wind and rain to bird a few spots around
Kerr Dam this morning. Highlights were FOY Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Barn
Swallow, and Blue-winged Teal at Dick Cross, 16 Red-necked Grebes (9 at
Palmer Point and 7 near the dam), 3 Red-throated Loons at Palmer Point, a
Palm Warbler at the Visitor's Center (possibly the same bird that been seen
several times on the dam), and the continuing Lesser Black-backed Gull at
Tailrace. We missed both the Pacific Loon and the Spotted Sandpiper today.
