Hey all, I heard my 1st singing Blue-headed Vireo of the spring this afternoon
while on a class field trip at the Old Dominion University property within the
Zuni Pine Barrens along the Blackwater River, Isle of Wight Co. Only the third
Blue-headed Vireo I've found since fall migration, the other most recent
sighting was a foraging bird about a month ago at the similar Chub Sandhill
Natural Area Preserve along the Nottoway River, Sussex Co. All the best,
