Rich Rieger, Phil Silas, and I met with the Kristin Sinclair, who is the
natural resources staff person for the Fairfax County Park Authority, to do a
bird inventory in the large field behind the Barrett house at Laurel Hill Park
on Lorton Rd. this morning.
Among other birds we found a flock of Bobolinks, perhaps 15 or 20, flying
around and down in the grass.
These may be the same Bobolinks that Rich first reported on April 30th.
This is a nice place to bird. It's a free county park and the bobolinks are
a bonus.
