This morning I journeyed to Claytor Lake and joined other birders in search of
the Brown Booby. We were not disappointed as many of us saw it early flying
along the far shore from the State Park and then later in the morning, near
noon, it flew adjacent to the State Park. Photographs can be seen at the
following link:

The sky was overcast so I apologize for the quality of the images.
Other birds of interest around the lake were Orange-crowned and Nashville
Warblers.
I hope others get to enjoy the bird as it is either haggard or molting? Check
out the primaries, secondaries and tail feathers.
Enjoy each day,
