After the cold front passed through Saturday I thought things would
pick up but that hasn't been the case. I saw 8 on 8-22, 9 on 8-23, none on
8-24, 5 on 8-25 and three tonight. This is the slowest start I've had in
the six years I have been watching at Van Dyke Park, Fairfax City, VA. At
least there are lots of Chimney Swifts to keep me company in the last 30
minutes or so of the watch.
