Guest speaker, Robert Ake of Norfolk, once said that he could spend every hour
of every day observing birds in nature. And that's pretty much what he did in
2010 when he and a friend spent the year combing the U.S. and Canada trying to
see as many species birds as they could between January 1 and December 31,
2010. He will recount his adventures in finding 731 different species of birds
his "Big Year”.
