The 10th Anniversary Coastal VA Wildlife Observatory commemorative photo CD
has been completed, with more than 400 color close-up images of birds,
butterflies and the people who have helped make the Observatory successful over
the
first 10 years. It's also a great learning tool, showing field marks in
perfect detail, of birds in spring and fall plumages, including 28 species of
warblers and 15 species of hawks and owls. Thanks to the 30 photographers who
contributed and to all the volunteers who have helped in many ways. The DVD
version
is not ready yet, but the CD will work in most DVD players.

All proceeds will go to the newly established Kiptopeke Founders Songbird
Study Fund and the Joy Archer Migration Studies Fund, to continue the important
and unique work of long-term monitoring of migratory birds and butterflies
around the mouth of Chesapeake Bay.
