Weather:
Started clear with clouds finally increasing to partly cloudy the last few
hours of the count. A nice breeze starting NW shifted to SSW. 71 to 81
degrees F.
Raptor Observations:
Steady but slow with birds starting out near the ridge with the NW breeze
but shifting off the ridge with the wind shift; flight high all day.
Broadwings coming in mostly single digits with a few groups in the 10s and
20s.
Non-raptor Observations:
A few blue jays and a red-breasted nuthatch for the third day in a row.
Predictions:
Another day of coverage likely with similar weather predicted.
