Weather:
Calm and fogged in during first hour, thereafter, winds generally 1-2 (5-10
mph) SW, temperatures cool to warm 20-28 C (68-82 F), cloud cover
decreasing after fog lifted (100 to 20%), but, increasing again late (70%).


Raptor Observations:
Generally slow raptor flight with most birds from 3-5 pm (all times EST),
including largest kettle of 48 BW. First bird at 12:20 pm, CH. First BW
kettle of five at 2:09 pm, picking up in the next two hours with largest
kettle at 3:55 pm, and last BW (15 birds) at 4:10 pm. SS singles at 2:58 pm
and 4:18 pm. OS singles at 4:22 pm and 4:45 pm, latter, final bird for the
day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Three local Red-tailed Hawks, 2 Common Ravens, 35 Chimney Swifts, 16 Cedar
Waxwing, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Red-breasted
Nuthatch, Monarchs, and first of fall, three migrating flocks of Blue Jays,
10, 20 and 18 birds each.
