Weather:
Partly cloudy with a great cirrus but plenty of sun to keep the birds
moving. NW 3-8 mph early, weakening as the day progressed, and shifting
late to SW but still light. 66-78 degrees F.
Raptor Observations:
A relatively steady flow of Broadwings, initially close to the ridge with
the NW breeze creating lift, then a little farther away predominantly on
the north side, and the nice late push again closer to the ridge. Hourly
BW count: 74, 72, 31, 163, 262, 374, 313, and just a couple the last half
hour. Eagles 2 ad, 1 imm.

Predictions:
Numbers encouraging as the last push of broadwings delayed by the weather
come through. Some nice clouds again tomorrow, at least in the afternoon,
with a continuing light northerly (N-NE) air flow.
