The wondrousness of the Orange-bellied Parrots and my good fortune to
photograph them over shadowed all of my other bird photography for a while (yet
I still continued birding and taking pictures pretty regularly). So I had a
back-log to post to my flickr photostream.

As always... many of these are recording shots rather than "fine photography".
My bird photos are an extension of my birding, not the other way round.
Included in this group are: Purple-gaped, Fuscous, Yellow-tufted, Yellow-plumed
and White-fronted Honeyeaters, as well as Jacky Winters, Zebra Finches,
Brolgas, Diamond Firetails, Gilbert's Whistler and some low-light shots of the
Mallee Ringneck (parrot) to mention a few. There are quite a few more. I have
been birding some to the northwest of Kyneton, Victoria, where we are based,
and getting into edges of the ranges of some 'new' birds.
Have a look through the photos. I think you will find some interesting birds in
there.
Cheers from down under,
