Walked the Hike-Bike Trail on Sunday for the first time in two months. No
passage migrants, but at least one chat is still in residence in the
Woodcock Meadow. I saw a recently fledged bunting (still with visible gape)
plus 11 others; at least 5 blue grosbeaks; both of these species were among
the relatively few still singing.
