6-year-old Cheryl has been wanting to hand-feed birds for a long time.
Yesterday, while observing her patience I began to think it might actually
work for her one of these days. Well, a while ago as I watched the many
birds using the plate she held yesterday, I decided it might be okay if she
tried again. After all, the temperatures are warmer today.
She resumed her spot on a rock and held a pan of seeds as well as a handful
on her hat. Before too long, birds began checking her out. Here is a photo:
