I= was working outside in the yard this afternoon in Alexandria, Fairfax
Co.,= VA. &n= bsp; (about a half mile from the Hunting Metro station)
4:33-4:45pm. I looked up to se= e 8 American Crows, calling and going
roughly north to roost(?).And then there were= also some specks "small
birds"higher up, which were Chimney Swifts.As I watched I esti= mated 75 to
100 swifts flying in all directions over the house. This= is the most
Chimney Swifts I = have ever seen at this location. And then a Common
Nighthawk flew by as well; getti= ng a little late for the Nighthawk.
