This morning, March 13, the Black-tailed Godwit reported by Dick Rowe on Monday
was still present at the Chincoteague NWR. The bird was located just south of
the Toms Cove Visitor Center on the cove side of the beach. It was keeping
company with Marbled Godwit, American Oystercatcher, and many Willet. I
observed the bird between 10:00 and 12:00 am.
