I was able to see the Blandy Loggerhead Shrike today in the same area it has
been reported. I had been wondering if it was the same bird that wintered
along Stonebridge Rd. last year but apparently that is not the case since
another Shrike was present there in a small tree in the middle of the field at
the top of the hill to the west of the creek. Photos of both birds are on my

Meadows bridle trail area today where there was a large flock of about 80
Pipits flying around and landing in the hay field.
