Non-profits need all the help and love they can get...and after consulting
with VSO, which is on Facebook and some other non-profits about their
experiences, it seems wise to help spread the word about the importance of bird
and habitat conservation in as many ways as possible....so...the
Observatory has just launched a Facebook page and we welcome people to "like"
the
site and also to feel free to share comments and photos about their visits to
our programs. We'll soon also have a Facebook logo added to the website and
the VSO will be listed as a "related site" there, along with such partners
as The Nature Conservancy and the American Birding Association.
